ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

The 7^th ESH E-Conference on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) programme is designed to include leading-edge basic and clinical research. The presentation of unpublished data is encouraged and emphasis is placed on opportunities for the live scientific discussion and interaction we are all missing so cruelly during these challenging times. Prepare your questions and share in the discussions!

The meeting will be of interest to:
- Senior biologists and clinicians, including experts in the field (MD, PhD, MD-PhD)
- Junior scientists and clinicians (MD, PhD)
- PhD candidates and clinical residents still in-training

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Learn how to optimally diagnose MDS, by morphological analysis and cytogenetics but also through the use of new tools, mainly for molecular analysis.
- Improve ability to analyze prognostic factors, including new factors (revised IPSS, molecular analysis).
- Review current treatment of MDS in both the high risk and low risk settings, ranging from single follow up to allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
- Acquire improved knowledge of emerging treatments based on targeted therapies and well conducted clinical trials.

TIMING OF THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME:
Participants will be joining us from all over the world and from different time zones. To make sure that everyone has access to the full scientific programme at a convenient hour, registration will allow participants to join both the LIVE PROGRAMME and the PROGRAMME ON DEMAND.

The “Live Programme” will be streamed live CET time.
It will include Debates, Meet the Expert sessions, interactive panel discussions, Q&A periods, and Mentored Poster Walks. It will also include some pre-recorded lectures that will be streamed live, followed by their corresponding fully live Q&A period.

The “Programme on Demand” available as of January 19, 2021.
It will initially include the pre-recorded components of the scientific programme. It will be progressively enriched by the meeting’s live, interactive components which will be recorded real time during the meeting.

E-POSTERS: January 19-March 2, 2021
The Poster Hall will also remain open until March 2,2021. The Mentored Poster Walk scheduled in the LIVE PROGRAMME will also become available in the PROGRAMME ON DEMAND.

SATELLITE SYMPOSIA LIVE AND ON DEMAND:
Symposia organized independently by our corporate partners in conjunction with the ESH E-Conference will also be available both Live and On Demand as described above, from January 19-March 2, 2021.
