The goals of this conference are :

• To define ageing in biological terms, to address its consequences on the bone marrow, lymphoid tissue and on hemostasis, and to discuss resulting disorders.
• To analyse tools of geriatric assessment used to help in treatment decisions in elderly people
• To describe specificities of major hematological malignancies and their treatment aspects in the elderly
• To analyze a frequent situation in the elderly, ie anemia

Learning objectives:

1. To gain knowledge in the changes occurring in the bone marrow, lymphoid tissue and hemostasis with ageing
2. To be able to use various geriatric assessment for the management of blood disorders in the elderly, particularly haematological malignancies
3. to recognize specificities of hematological malignancies in the elderly
4. Most importantly to be able to adapt therapeutic approaches to age
5. To be capable of analysing anemia, a frequent situation in MDS

The programme will include :

• Plenary sessions
• Round table discussions
• Poster sessions
• Simultaneous Meet the Expert sessions

The rates for reservations between 10 to 13 March 2016 are only applicable if the reservation is made for a minimum of three nights.
Upon receipt of full payment, you will receive an official confirmation letter and receipt. In the event of cancellation before November 10, 2015 the payment will be refunded less Euro 50,00. After this date no refund can be made. No shows and late cancellations will be charged in full.

Cancellation policy of registration fee :
In case of cancellation, up until one month prior to the beginning of the meeting, your registration fee will be reimbursed in full (less bank charges).
If the cancellation is notified between 1 and 30 days prior to the beginning of the meeting, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed (less bank charges).
Cancellations notified during the meeting will not be reimbursed.
