Breakdown of CML participants/continent

The ESH-iCMLf International Conference in Estoril welcomed a record number of 455 participants from around the globe. Although the vast majority were Europeans, a record number of Americans attended this year. In total one in five attendees crossed the Atlantic to discuss the latest developments in Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia.
A growing number of participants also came from Oceania, Asia, and South America. These increasing numbers indicate that the Conference is becoming more and more internationally renowned. They also provide encouraging data for the future for this event which will be held in Baltimore in 2012.
