ESH-EHA Type I Hematology Tutorial Diagnostic Work-up of Hematological Malignancies Focus on Myelodysplastic Syndromes

ESH-EHA Hematology Tutorials are 2-day meetings that aim to provide laboratory and clinical hematologists with an integrated diagnostic and clinical work-up of haematological disorders. Tutorial programs include plenary lectures, interactive clinical case study sessions and opportunities for self-assessment. They use voting box technology.

The joint ESH and EHA committee organizes in-depth scientific workshops and tutorials on specific topics of importance to basic, translational and clinical research scientists working in the field of haematology. Topics are selected to complement those addressed during other ESH activities and those treated at the annual EHA congress.

The upcoming Tutorial on MDS will bring together international specialists such as Pierre Fenaux (Paris), Shaun McCann (Dublin) and Gina Zini(Rome) for an intensive two-day event covering diagnostic criteria, prognostic factors, and treatment of MDS. Local host, Jaroslav Cermak joins ESH and EHA in welcoming the one-hundred particpants to Prague.
