ESH International Conference on Haematological Disorders in the Elderly

Most haematological disorders predominate in the elderly, and their incidence therefore increases with patient ageing everywhere in the world. In addition, management of these disorders in older patients at that age often requires specific approaches, in particular treatments with more limited toxicity.

But ageing is also characterized by modifications in haematopoiesis, in the  lymphoid system and in coagulation, with specific consequences including infections and thrombosis.

The goals of this conference are to define ageing in biological terms, to address its consequences on the bone marrow, lymphoid tissue and on haemostasis, and to discuss resulting disorders.

Treatment issues in the different types of haematological malignancies will be addressed with emphasis on the unique aspects of treatment related to ageing.

The deadline for abstracts is: September 30th, 2013

Abstracts:

Not more than 400 words.
They can be structured (eg Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions) or unstructured.

Your abstract should contain the following information:
1. Title (capital letters)
2. Authors with name of presenting author under-scored
3. Name and e-mail of corresponding author
4. Institution and city of origin
5. Text
6. Acknowledgements (if necessary) (no references please)

PAYMENT AND CONDITIONS

The rates for reservations between 5 to 7 November 2013 are only applicable if the reservation is made for a minimum of two nights.
Upon receipt of full payment, you will receive an official confirmation letter and receipt. In the event of cancellation before July 5th  the payment will be refunded less Euro 50,00. After this date no refund can be made. No shows and late cancellations will be charged in full.

Cancellation policy of registration fee :

In case of cancellation, up until one month prior to the beginning of the meeting, your registration fee will be reimbursed in full (less bank charges).
If the cancellation is notified between 1 and 30 days prior to the beginning of the meeting, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed (less bank charges).
Cancellations notified during the meeting will not be reimbursed
